CYDA is always on the forefront during emergency response programs and reached out to the  the fact that as an organization it has an experience as well as expertize to mobilize volunteers to act during times of crisis and emergency.

Major focus of CYDA has been to divert youth energy in relief, rehabilitation and rebuilding homes and institutions. As part of relief, the organization plays a crucial role to be with the affected communities, while channelizing funds and resources from various Corporate, INGOs to ensure that these facilities reach the people. CYDA also works with institutions such as Anganwadi and schools to ensure children have proper infrastructures, especially in case of safe water, sanitation and handwash station for hygiene promotion.
