One day, while working at the site, Arjun overheard a discussion about some schemes for migrant workers facilitated by CYDA. This meeting helped him learn about the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) schemes designed for workers like him. Arjun collected all the necessary documents for the registration and visited the KSSSK centre. With the support of CYDA, he successfully completed his BOCW registration on the government portal.

Within a month of his registration, Arjun received his registration card and a safety tool kit from the labour commissioner’s office. Thanks to his increased awareness of the available schemes and support from CYDA, Arjun was able to register for BOCW and secure essential safety equipment.

Arjun said, – I am really happy and thankful to CYDA team for supporting me in getting the registration done under BOCW scheme.
